ABOU ME 33 years old Born & raised in Israel For the last 3 years living in Alentejo Portugal. Creating, exploring, and moving with other bodies and nature. Sharing the passion for and expression through dance since the age of 5 (: MY JOURNEY WITH DANCEAND MOVEMENT: It all started at my parent’s living room when me and the music from the commercial radio stationhad the chance to connect, to become one. In a wild pure way of a little girl who obviously has a deep passion to dance. From there started a long relationship with the world of dance in my life. Through ballet, modern,improvisation, hip hop...as well through competition, confusion about what dance is for me compared to what I've been offered to perceive it like. Until luckily, at the beginning of my 20's, I watched for the first time people dancing in a free dance party... Released from structures, exactly as the small Noy was15 years earlier in front of the radio, I was finally meeting my passion in other bodies. After three hours of just observing this miracle with tears in my eyes, I realised that there is space for my pure pession, and started to feel i have a mission here. My new journey with movement started. 4 years in the Jerusalem Music and Dance Academy, exploring contact dance, improvisation, composition, BMC (Body Mind Centering), somatic movement, release technique, floor-work and more. 4 months in total over those years of going back and forth to Los Angeles for Urban dance trainings. New doors opened and I started to teach HIP HOP & DANCEHALL, to choreograph for music videos as well as small stage performances, as well to explore the world of drag queens, body language in gender and the "political body". And then the world of the teaching of movement (beyond technical classes) opened up for me....An important check point in my journey. I started to develope a new, deeper relationship with dance and the essence it carries. The abilities of dance to HEAL US revealed themselves to me.... My mission…I heard an inner voice... until finally beautiful Alentejo, Portugal, came into my life...and the space that was created invited me to deepen my connection with movement in my life. Many workshops and creation processes with beautiful souls that joined me again and again..new directions of exploration, as a mover, as a teacher.. And last but definitely not least, I entered oficially to the Ilan Lev therapy method, and being offering movement therapy sessions since a year and a half. And the journey continues... These days i am still teaching hip hop and house dance, holding spaces in different fields, and offering workshops. Being deeply GREATFULL. Bless of love and shaky dance. yours, Noy
